Hello,
I am a mortgage consultant and financial planner with a company called Freedom Equity Group. Our main gain is to educate our clients about their finances so that they can make more educated choices on how to control their finances. Here is a copy of out mission statement:

We believe that extraordinary wealth can be achieved by ordinary individuals and that knowledge is the key to financial freedom. Our mission is to educate individuals--letting each know that they can be wealthy--and providing them with the tools, resources, and income source to become wealthy by educating others to do the same.
Some of the things we specialize in include ...
Helping you Save on your mortgage by 1/3 to 1/2
Showing you why to never choose a 15-year mortgage
Helping you Take Control of your own money
Investing in Your Retirement with the same money you are already spending
Doubling your appreciable Assets
Helping you pay fewer taxes and/or maintain your only tax deduction
Building Wealth
Securing your financial future
Helping you Retire Younger and with a higher standard of living
For more info, please feel free to visit my website, the link is under my signature.
We also are finishing up a new training program for new agents looking to come on board with the company.
And pretty soon, our email newsletter will be finalized and will begin getting sent out.
So please feel free to check out our site and contact us with any questions you might have.

I don't get the last part of your post, but here is a link to the post about the $25,000 mistake, and why you should not choose short term mortgage loans or pay them off early.

Hey, You told me-I had to open my opinion on this matter-and I did. I didn't do anything but drive up the thread count to keep this guy on top of the page.
Haplo-I know-blue drives people crazy, and since you gave me some marching orders-
I thought I'd march to the color of my own font...... and help dsickler-since you said you wanted a few opinions.... You never said what color you wanted me to type in, I was just told to encourage the dialog.
I hear olive is another color that drives eyes nutty.... |

It's not the blue, it was the tint. It was that light blue that you can't hardly see on a lightish blue background.
But after working in the yard for a few days I can see why the greens would appeal to you ;) |

So, realistically, lets talk about Mr. Sickler here :)
David has been a great addition to the board, and I really appreciate the time that you have taken bringing your thoughts and ideas to the boards. |
