I think I'm going to let this one stay. Primarily because it seems more of an information center than simply just a "Come make me money" deal. (Kind of like what David has put together here.)
Also, this comment on your site made me want to thank you profusely. Quote: I have abstained from many of the tactics that could bring more traffic but are also quite annoying. For instance I don't have pop-up adds, I don't send out spam, and I don't clog your fax or even your mail box with fliers.
These kind of things annoy me to no end and since you specificly have stated you don't do them, well that makes me just a little bit more pleased on this Monday morning ;) |

spam? I'm here to tell you, if you're signed up with a netbranch-man do you get the "spam!" But it's the only way for all of us to stay up to date.
And then some lenders just email direct, when they have a matrix or rate sheet change. (Which is okay, since they are nitchy lenders) I don't mind the nitchy emails, it's a once a week thing-unless the world is falling apart. Then it's hourly, and it keeps me up to speed.
I had to block World Savings. I was getting way too much, and wouldn't use them anyway!
okay, I'll come over and visit your site, but you have to refer us stuff too! It's one of those things where it takes more than one site to get anything done anymore! Welcome to our "quiet spot!" I find a lot of good things in these "quiet spots" |

Quote: Here are two more forums for mortgage brokers. The Internet is fianally building up quality content for industry pro's.
Finally, not Fianally ;)
Also you may want to expand it. I haven't reviewed your site all that much yet, just no time, but I know for us at least we are a broker/banker/consumer type thing, not just for the brokers. |

Yeah, I posted with a borrowed Blackberry  surprised it wasn't worse! I changed the wording a bit, my site is not really read by consumers. |

I don't know if you want to exchange links with us since most of have openly advised consumers to NOT shop for a loan through Lending Tree. I'm going to leave your links up in this post so the other member's can voice their humble opinions)
You can be added to the panel at the top for a fee. Just click the ad link and Google will be more than happy to hook you up. Those companies across the top of the page basically pay for this site. The Administrator isn't making money on it, but it pays the monthly bill for us to use the place for free. |

Gimme a break! This joker is trying to play the newbie in another thread about he started about LT (I refuse to use their name here because of him), and although I generally disagree with the deleting of website links in tag lines, when someone like this putz "applyfor-mortgagesonline" is being deceptive, then I think their tag line links should not only be deleted but their posts edited to remove their L****** T*** references.
*nothing humble about this opinion either* |
