We pay $2300/month in an apartment now, and are thinking of buying 2 houses, each worth about $200,000 in 2 states.
We have more than the cost of one house in cash, but would prefer to put no more than 5 to 10% down on each house. We have 800+ Credit Scores
On the negative, we are just finishing our 2008 taxes, and then proceeding with our accountant to 2009. We will likely report income of $50,000-70,000 range. We are able to claim a lot of expenses which makes out income less as a result.
What would our chances of getting into two houses worth $200,000 each would be?
I do NOT want to do pre-approval until our taxes are done. I'm looking for a good contact to coach me a little on understanding the key considerations. |
