A quitclaim is one kind of document. a person disclaims any interest the granter may have in a peace of real property of real property and passes that claim to another person. A quitclaim deed sometimes referred to as a "quick claim deed" or "quit claim deed," is one type of deed.

The deeds normally used for real estate sales contain guarantees from the granter to the grantee. Quitclaims sometimes used to transfer between family members, gifts, placing personal properties into business entity and in other special or unusual circumstances. But however it does not guarantee that the property is the grantee's outright. The signed quitclaim deed is a simple and effective way to give up all interest in a property. Anything else that can you share about the quitclaims on this forum ?

Thanks.
