| Hello, I will have a ton of ?'s for this site. Here is the situation I am in. Back in 08' I had a judgment ruled against me for 6,900. It has been paid in full since last month. My debt to income ratio is very low. I was told about a year ago that paying off the judgment in full is all I had to do to get approved for a loan. I have 6 old collection accounts on my report from about 2004. 4 are 25.00 parking ticketsjavascript:emoticon('') 1 is a gas card that has been paid for 5 years and 1 is a cell phone that was not mine but they won't remove it. (fought this for a long time). I have only 1 line of open credit. 1 truck loan that has never been late dating back to 1/2006 and 1 credit card that has never been late with a 0 balance. (this card company folded up and closed the account) but they have been reporting every month till the balance was paid. Two of the parking tickets were reporting that I still owed a balance so I disputed them w/ Equifax and they removed them off the report.(YES!!). All the rest of the qualifying items are good. ie. same job for ten years, make good money, have w2's bank statements look good, steady money in savings . I have the true credit to monitor my credit but have never really pulled my fico score. Should I wait and just have the lender do this ? I don't want to waist there time if my score is to low. Thanks and sorry this is so long. |
