Financially speaking, I have no idea.
From a personal view though, I would say the best investment would be whichever one you and your family would enjoy the most.
I, for example, can't stand the idea of a townhouse because I hate the tall and narrow types of homes and most townhouses fit that description. I think a house would be the best investment because I'd enjoy it the most, and would be more inclined to make home improvements on it to increase the value because of that enjoyment. |
