If these are offered in your area - attend them!
My husband and I were first time homebuyers and got wrapped into a mortgage that should have never been offered to us. The broker did not disclose to us our PMI alone would be $310 a month! So, for the last two years we have been fighting to stay in our home!
I recently found out about these classes. I am now a huge advocate for education on the entire home buying experience from brokers to pmi to everything else in between! |

What exactly do you walk away from these classes with? Also, where do you find out about them?
I've never heard of home buying classes but it definitely sounds like something that everyone should look into. |
