| I am looking to purchase a home. I have held my job for more than a year and make fairly decent money. I have also had a bank account with the same bank for nearly 2 years. Should i apply though my bank or should i look into a mortgage loan elsewhere? If so where? |

Talking with your local bank is always an option. But as Eric mentioned there are many on this site that are more than qualified to determine if you qualify and what loan program is best for you.
Ask about FHA with 3.5% down. If you are in a state that has a down payment assitance program ask about partnering the FHA loan with one of those.
As you have only been employed for a year it sounds like there migth be a question about your employment history.

| Choose mortgage loan you don't have to go outside or anywhere to find it, as they mentioned; there are many sites in the web that can help you and are much better. |
