Can you keep the home buyer tax credit after selling your home and moving to a new home before the 3rd year?

That is a really large tax credit! I don't know a lot about it (didn't read your link yet) but I'm definitely going to have to look into it. Was it just for 2009 or does it extend beyond that?

Personally I think this is outragous!

This change can only harm the house market in my opinion.
Another factor that could make a difference to the market is a wave of compensation claims similar to what is happening in the UK currently.

Apparently, a pot of money set aside by the economic watchdog has the sole purpose of compensating homeowners who have been mis sold mortgages.

If something similar happens here then I think we could be in trouble. Am I alone?[/url]

I dont think the tax credit helped too much. The lending guidelines need to loosen a bit to help our economy.
