Any experience working in a bank (or mortgage company) is great experience for a life. To truly understand how the banking world works will equip you greatly into the future. ~ no matter how you start.

The larger banks in the USA (and other parts of the world too) have experienced big drops in their market positions because of the over lending to sub prime market. Interestingly, some of the smaller banks are doing really well with stock rises as they did not get involved in this over lending practice.

The smaller banks are also still offering stated income loans. We work with a few banks who can offer competitive rates in new jersey, new york, connecticut and California if you need a stated income loan.

Hi there,

it is definitely a very good market with lots of future prospects. with recession ending you will see lots of people coming forward for the refinancing. thus lots of job opportunity will definitely open up in this field in the coming years.

after 10 years in the market, i've concluded that you can do well in any market. you just need to change your tactics. Don't worry too much about the market...build your customer base, get good at what you do, and you will always be taken care of.

It's a great time. Interest rates are low 4.75% on a 30 yr fixed. This is a great time for people who purchased their homes 3+ years ago and looking to refinance. For people who purchased their homes within the last 2 years this market is horrible considering their house values have dropped. But then again this all differs with the person and the property. But yea, even though it's gotten stricter, I would get into the business. I just started again and I'm really doing good on refinances.

Great post! Interest rates gets higher every now and then that us buyers also take advantage of low interest creditors that are available.

A very good time for refinancing, the rates are down , but:

Make sure refinancing gives you better monthly payment and that you break even and not lose money on the process !
MOrtgage refinancing should not be dealt light-headed... good luck!

Refinancing can be done with five reasons to achieve more effectiveness like- one can save more as their monthly payments will reduce in case of lower interest rates.

One can shorten the length of mortgage by reducing the term of the loan and monthly payments will go up which results in getting free from debts soon.

These are some better advantages of refinancing.
