| I have been processing for over eight years. All the brokers that I worked for had 1, maybe two processors. You have to remember working for a broker doesn't leave you a whole lot of job stability, because if business slows down, processors are the first to go, because you are salary.If you live near a city where there are any mortgage lenders, you're better off to go to work for one of them. The pay is much better, better benefits, longer vacation time, more job stability and a lot more chance for advancement. I have been processing for a lender for three years now, we have 45 processors in our department and there has never been a lay off in the company. |

| There are pros and cons in both scenarios. Larger lending institutons have seen significant layoffs too. |
