| Their cheap but sloppy! Bad leads and hard to understand.Very affordable price wise but bad ROI! |

| We have used call centres in the past but wasnt very successfull. We used offshore in particular but didnt have much joy. One thing we didnt try was a call centre to generate mortgage leads on commission only basis, perhaps give that a go. |

I run a call center that generates qualified re-fi and loan mod leads. Our clients see 8-10% closing ratios. These leads are stringently pre-qualified and 100% exclusive. I think a lot of bad taste for these leads is mainly because leads are often resold, are stale, and are overpriced.
We pre-qual with
. Minimum loan amount of 100k in most states
. Nothing less than a percentage of 6.5% on a 30 year fixed rate
. Lower than 90% LTV
. No Mobile Homes
. No Chapter 7

| My web site has been generating leads for me but I am getting a lot in states where I cannot originate loans. Would be willing to work out a deal with someone to either purchase my leads or trade for leads in my service area. |

| Call centers are hard because the ones that majority of us can afford are off shore but they don't really understand whats needed in order for it to be a qualified lead. The end result... Unfortunately wasted money |

If you are using an over seas call center, you already told me enough to know why you didn't have the success you were hoping for. Yes initially it may appear to be less expensive when you look at the cost PER LEAD, but the end result is much more costly if you choose to outsource the SALE over seas.
We're not talking about an In-Bound call where the borrower is forced to speak with "Joe Smith" who just happens to have the heaviest accent on the planet. It's an Out-Bound call, contacting the borrower during dinner at their home, attempting to gather info they deem to be valuable or personal.
American Call Centers are clearly the way to go if you are working LIVE TRANSFERS or APPOINTMENT SCHEDULE CALLBACK LEADS!!! I've had a Call Center in NJ & PA for more than 15 years now, and it kills me to see OUTBOUND work sent overseas. Inbound I can understand to a degree, but OUTBOUND...NO WAY!!!
The BIGGEST KEYS to a successful TELEMARKETING CAMPAIGN is the LEAD CRITERIA and the DATA be called upon.
If someone told you to invest $1000 - $2000 and you'll close 3 - 6 loans, I'm sure you would jump on that, NO? |

I've worked in call centers and I have to say that they are all scummy, even the ones here in the US. Your managers will pretty much tell you to lie to rack up the numbers so they look good.
I'd look into hiring private individuals to do that kind of thing because you'd probably get better quality and fewer dead ends. |

Unfortunatley, I guess you worked in the "scummy" call center, and where you were, they didn't have any business ethics whatsoever. Sounds like they were more worried about getting 1 or 2 quick payments, rather than working towards a long on going business relationship.
If you knew this was taking place did you do anything to try and stop it?
P.S. Every lead my reps generate are 100% digitally recorded to keep from having these issues you have clearly been apart of in the past. If you have the proper criteria/guidelines set up on your lead program, and the leads are being recorded there is no way for this to happen.
