What is Bankruptcy Credit Reporting? It's not a bad idea, I've thought about doing something like this. But this opens you up to so much fraud. For example if my college buddy wants a house, I am pretend to be the owner and send a verification of rent form. Then your company will think it's legit and report it to the agencies. Then this guys runs off and buys 10 homes with his new and improved credit. Should I say more or you readers getting the message.

All rents are verified by the bureaus directly thru the landlord..We're well aware of the potential for fraud.

Any unusual lease or contract will be verified prior to the client signing up to avoid hassles after the fact...

This company is a scam 100%... dont waste your money and time .

Basically what this guy does is gets people to sign up and pay the whole fee upfront. Then asks you to wait 30-60 days for it to report .
The problem here is after 45 days Paypal will deny any disputes and most credit cards have rules on how long you have to dispute a charge (usually 30-60 days). If you file disputes after this you will have a hard time getting your money back.

This website makes you think this stuff is all legit. But if you look more closely you'll see a few RED flags which tell you this a SCAM/FRAUD

Another redflag is this company uses only PAYPAL. Most online companies use their own payment processors and may accept paypal.
Paypal is a good company only when buying a physical item. Like on ebay where you are getting something shipped

They make this dispute process very hard and will often deny you because this was a digital transaction. But if you open a dispute before 45 days they may review your case. After 45 days their system is setup to deny any claims.

Most credit cards have a limit by when you have to report the initial dispute. Usually within 30-60 days. After that its very hard to get them to do a chargeback. Also read the terms and conditions its says you may have to wait up to 160 days for it to report but in the FAQ section it says it takes a maximum of 60 days .

I hope this report warns anyone who may be thinking of doing business with this company.
You are just wasting Time, Money and maybe compromising your identity .

I was able to recover my payment of $299 because i disputed the charge with my credit card company before the 60 days were up and placed fraud alerts on my credit reports. I now monitor my credit reports daily.

I too have been taken by Mr. Stephen Ames! AKA Darkstar. He is a scam artist, he is taking peoples money on line and does NOTHING! He has gotten me for $400.00, and knows that PayPal is limited to a 45 day dispute period. DO NOT USE WE REPORT RENT if you don't want your money stolen! The only thing Mr. Ames has given me is aggrevation! I have posted complaints with rip off report, the Kentucky States Attorney, Illinois States Attorney, PayPal, and the Cyber Crime divison of the FBI. He told me to prove that the service sold to me was not provided, and he would refund my money, I did, and still no refund. This guy is a crook, thief, and LIAR!

reporting rent is such a good idea. There is alot people that live in apartments that do not have the credit to get a house. This will definitely
improve their credit to get a house..

That's what I thought too, and I called the above mentioned crook and even talked to him. It all seemed on the up and up. Until I never saw anything reported. I would call and get the song and dance, it's out of my control, the bureaus are not reporting, you missed the cut off date, you will have to wait till next months batch, etc. What is really goin on is he is waiting out the time frames to report to your credit card company, and or PayPal! This guy is scum, he is preying on people who are trying to rebuild themselves. I will do everything in my powerto make sure the truth of his scam is known to all! AVOID WE REPORT RENT / STEPHEN AMES aka DARKSTAR!!!!!!!

I too have been scammed by Stephen Ames and We Report Rent, I filed charges with the FBI, Kentucky Attorney General's office, and the BBB. I cannot believe this guy can continue to steal from the public with a bogus service. His web site should be removed and all he does is try to turn the tables and act like the buyer is trying to scam him. What a piece of crap! Stay away from in by all accords, I paid for 5 of my customers and he got me for over $1,000! He charges enough to where it stings but not enough to make it worth your while. Karma is a bitch and he cannot be succesful with his ill gotten gains.

Wow, I was so excited when I read the beginning of this post, but I'm glad I finished reading the whole thread.

What a scum bucket! Praying on people who probably can't afford to lose the money he's taking.

I do wish this was legit though. It's always bothered me that rent and utilities don't report to the credit bureaus until you default, then you get a big fat collection on your CR.

I don't know about this program, but I do know DarkStar has an excellent rep when it comes to data & leads in the industry. From what I've read he has greatly helped many L.O.'s with his product(s).
Even though he would be considered a competitor of mine I appreciate what he does. Besides I generate TELE LEADS his programs are much different.

My 2 cents...I know some people follow him around, jump in one time to bash and then are never heard from again. It happens all the time on whatever the forum of the day happens to be.
