| That obviously depends on the type of house you are wanting, if you go to a mortgage adviser and he or she tells you that your in a good position to get a mortgage of X amount, then your good to go. The younger the better in my opinion, this way you will become financially free at a younger age. |

It is very much down to personal opinion on how much you can afford each month. A mortgage broker or mortgage lender will look at your income and suggest a loan amount based on their opinion of affordability. However if you know that you need several hundred pounds each month for socialising and you aren't willing to forgo this, then you need to take that into account.
Speak to a good independent mortgage broker. They will be able to firstly see how much a mortgage lender will be willing to lend to you, and secondly talk to you about affordabillity. They will also be able to advise on the type of mortgage product that would suit you, ie a fixed deal if you can't afford the interest rate movement risk etc. |

on your salary too.. Seek an advice or have a consultation from a mortgage adviser.Definetly, you will have
the best options you can have asthey would know what is suitable and best for you... |
