Question is how many of you know what it's for? Living where I do now, I have yet to meet one person that knows what Cinco de Mayo is =\ Makes me realize i'm still in hicksville! |

Cinco de mayo is the anniversary of the day that Mexico won it's indepence or a war victory over the French (not Spain as many people beleive) more than anything it is an excuse to sell (and drink) Corona beer.
I grew up and still live in So California and the funny thing is most of the people here even in a largely Hispanic comunity have no idea what Cinco de Mayo is about and Most of the Mexican people I know personally drink Budwiser! |
