Hello,

Can someone advise.

My fixed rate benefit period runs out on the 31/12/2010; the next day being bank holiday. Can I arrange my completion date in advance so that I do not have to pay my lenders SVR? Or, can we back date completion?

Are you in the U.S. or U.K.? (I ask because of your date format as well as using the SVR acronym)

Do you have a prepay penalty (meaning you'll incur an extra amount, usually a few % of your loan balance, in addition to the principal balance when you pay off your mortgage)?
