| I'm ready to give up on real-time leads due to the cost and impossibly low conversion ratio I'm getting. So now I'm trying to make a plan on the most efficient ways to drive traffic to my website. Is there any particular methods you have had success with recently? |

| for internet traffic - have you tried directory submissions? There are people who will submit your site to anywhere from 500-1000 directories and that will definitely generate some traffic. It will also help increase your google page rank which is one of the important requirements in order for your website to have a higher search engine listing among google, yahoo, msn and all the other big ones. |

Original content is the only way to do it. I get 300+ visitors a day and about 9-12 applications/call ins a day. All from organic searches. Over 1000 indexed pages on google and yahoo from over 700 topic pages.
Do not cut and paste other peoples content or you will get dinged hard by the search engines. But this is what I do. Go to bankrate.com find an article and rewrite it in your own words. That way it's unique. It is time consuming and my sites have taken over two years to get where they are today but it's worth it. I only pay for my godaddy hosting $4/mo. Thats it. |

There are a ton of ways to drive traffic to your site.
I agree that DigitalPoint has great stuff I post there under my IT consulting / Web Design company all the time.
craigslist.com is a great place as well as kijiji.com.
Link directories are ok, they just give you backlinks which can help promote you in the serps, I would say that building a good network of sites which all promote your main site is a good starting point.
Another good suggestions is to have a news / tips section of the site, update it 3-5 times per week and then social bookmark the articles on sites like digg.com, netscape.com, newsvine.com etc.. |

| Write useful mortgage articles and post them on your website.. Then submit those same articles to websites like Digg.com ... Have users rate your article, the higher the rating the more people will read them, thus directing them back to your website and increasing your website traffic.. Not good at writing? Hire a professional copywriter... Good luck! :D |

Try Norcon Marketing. They are friendly to work with. I have worked with so many other companies, and they are just rude. Whatever happened to customer service??? I am the customer, right!
Anyway, sorry for venting. Call them, they will work with you to make your marketing a success. Their number is 727-822-5000.
Good luck! |
