Is it possible for me to apply for mortgage in the USA from the United Kingdom.
In general what sort of requirements are needed in order to apply for mortgage from the United Kingdom (none-UK citizen but bank accounts are available in the UK)? Some good websites will be great.. Thanks.. |

| it will be difficult for any lender to borrow you money on an overseas property. for a start; you don't have a credit history in the country or permanent residence. A UK lender wouldn't be able to chase you down in case you defaulted on the mortgage. |

If you are buying in the US you can apply from anywhere. I took an application last month from a lady buying in Dallas who at the time of application was living and working in Belgium. If you are looking to find financing for property in the UK....well....sorry can't help you there. |
