Therefore, I am going to announce that I am dead. The problem with lead providers is they just simply DO NOT care about you.
They don't! And what suffers in the meantime is lead quality, your time and money.
Especially my company, We actually give you the opportunity to cherry pick and pay for the leads you want while offering free processing as a gift and none of you want to see this because all of the other lead providers cared about your wallet.
It's sad too because our service is nothing like a lead company and we can't be heard.
So, here is my tombstone:
Here lies James Carner
"Just another lead scammer
that had spoke of change
and guarantees"
Cool site though! |

James,
I'm sorry to hear you have had such bad encounters with lead companies. I am a lead supplier for (a site) I would love to help you get your business moving forward. We have an excellent reputation and are one of the only true US Mortgage lead vendors that care that their clients make money.
Give me a call if you would like to talk. |

One would think that loan officers/lenders could figure out that they are so ineffective and expensive that they aren't worth it. Seems to me that simple economics would win out but you know what PT Barnum once said about a sucker being born every minute.... |

Honesty is difficult to find in the lead business. Ethics have taken a nose-dive, especially since the internet came along.
Too bad...we're in the business, but we're not advertising yet, because we want to adhere to the rules here. When we do, you guys will see that lead providers can be good...it's all about HOW you do business, and not giving people the same old garbage they can get from 1,000 different providers. |

It is sad what so many lead providers have done to this part of the industry. The ONLY way (as it should be) to survive as a lead privder in todays industry is by working hard, being honest, and being reliable.
I am not posting here to solicit business, simply to try to regain some trust in my part of the industry. We have found that the only way to guarantee the exclusivity of a lead is to cold call someone and generate the lead that way (someone who announces online their interest WILL be getting other calls). Our leads are never resold.
As a very wise man once said:

What's worked for me? Educating people and being straight forward with them I get more referrals because of that than any other reason. Oh, and how I deal with when I make a mistake too
Repeat business and referrals is truly the way to get business as a lead provider. We do this by explaining EXACTLY how we produce our leads, showing our clients step by step what is done, and replacing any lead that did not meet their criteria.
---
It is very sad that you had to leave the industry. Having another honest lead provider is always an asset, we could have send you any business that we could not take.
If you change your mind about this part of the business feel free to give me a shout. I will explain to you exactly the process which we have found to work. If you want to set up a call center I can help you with that as well.
The way you were selling your leads was definetly the way to go. "Cherry picking" allows the client to pick EXACTLY what leads they want. However having a strong return policy essentially does the same thing.
If you have decided that you really do want to lay in the towel for good then I wish you the best in whatever you do. |

Look up "Cedo" in the member list.
He sent me home with a bottle of vintage port wine. |

Basically this is what happened. Same as almost always.
Lead company promises leads are hot and fresh and only sold once. Just waiting for someone to return the phone call.
Call Cedo. He's a little strange, but I have to hand it to him, he followed through. |
