Okay, if you're in the Indy area and just want to pay me some hush money....

Can you sponsor a hole at the Brickyard Golf course for a mere- $150.00?

All of the funds we raise go to a CAP center.

And Haplo, are you going to come over for the 500 race this year?

I actually thought about that. What is the date? I have 2.5 weeks where I will be out of the area (Calgary for a week for 1 grad of a girl who nearly died 18 m onths ago, and has made a full recovery, then Portland for a week for my Sis's grad. Then a short vacation after having to deal with family-types for 2 weeks ;)

When is the 500? It's Sunday, the day before memorial day! You have family in Portland? I'm going there in July.

If Memorial day is the last Monday of May then I'll be gone. The first grad is the 24th and the next is the 1st, and I'm just going straight from Calgary to Portland. Sorry!! I'm all over it next year though :) You can put me down right now!!

In July I'll be in either Denver or Phoenix :)

Well, fine. I'm staying here:

Red Lion Hotel on the River, Jantzen Beach, Portland, OR

One of my roomie's- a National Hosta person wants to go see gardens, I want to check out the glass art.

Any suggestions?

Imangine 9 garden nuts and two art freaks at a child abuse prevention convention in that town????

Well, I was under 10 when I was in Portland, so I don't remember much about what was great ;)

OMSI is kind of neat, mostly geared towards youth though (if you have youth with you.) The rose garden is awesome, and that whole park is a really nice place to get lost in for ever.

You're staying in a pretty good area from what I recall. Jantzen Beach was just really taking off just before I left Portland and moved to Seattle.
