thorlaw or "Uncle Herman" had a topic on that subject on his board.
www.lendinglaw.com
You people on the west coast really need to "tune" in there. He's very specific, and to the point, but he loves brokers.
The other problem he has is-once you get past the shock value of his delivery, he's really just a nice lawyer. (and that takes a lot for me to call someone a nice lawyer! ) If you're not in CA just sign up for the email alerts. (the smut value is wild) |

Yah no-DUH?????
Now 5th grade, can we pay attention to Business Law 202?
Uncle Herman is a Federal Attorney also, he can report on any state, and represent any person in any state in a federal court....
He just doesn't email out to california resident's. ie: he's a CA licensed attorney, but Fed Reg's are another matter?
Please place your hands on the desk so I can smack them with a ruler! (Haplo?)
I try help, really I do.

Here is my understanding of the old rule when Herman gave it to me. If you were approved with a eagle for Fannie, Freddie, Ginnie, in NV you were okay. But you had to have an office in state.
Now, From what I understand as of now-You'd better be planted in an office and physically staff it with a human, that fog's a mirror. (they may even be required to answer a phone and wear skin and clothing)
I'm sorry, any more advice will cost you $400. an hour.
You can read the links, or pay the piper. either way-time is MONEY.

Haplo-please get your left hand out from under the desk, my steel edged ruler is waiting! XOXOXOXOXO |

Umm, no! You said "You people on the west coast need to tune in" yadda yadda :P In direct response to Becca!!
While you may have meant everyone not including Becca, you implied Becca from your response to her!
I realize that you have a considerable bit more knowledge than I on the subject, and I bow graciously to your wisdom.
However I'm not submitting my hand for inspection when it wasn't my fault!!! |

Okay, I'm 160 pounds of woman and I'm going to pull your left hand out of your drawers. (of course- I swear 20 pounds of me is hair-can someone cut it off?)
Haplo,
Yield to the draw of the educational boards that we all seek.
I know it might kill a little of you, but:
What doesn't kill you-or train you, makes you a better person? riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight? :P |

160 eh? I've learned that a determined 85lb woman can find a way to clean my clock...I think I'll submit to the ruler.
Hey wait, I'm not catholic! You can't do that to me! |

According to my licensing department (asked them yesterday, who is a client of Herman's) you can't do any free loans in AZ without being licensed. |

| Haplo, Like you I saw that "apparent typo" but I'm glad it was you who responded. I remember those rulers way too well |
