I work for BNSF railroad. I recieved my monthly railroad magazine/flyer and it had listed different discounts in which BNSF employees recieve. It had listed Wells Fargo Mortgages. How would that work? In what way can they discount?

Rate, points, closing costs, etc. We have a specific department that works with corporate relocations and it pretty much counts just working for that company.

So, you work for Wells Fargo? Do you know for sure what type of discount they offer? If so, I would possibly be interested in your help. I am pre-approved already, but planned on looking into Wells Fargo because of my company discount.

I don't know the discounts specifically because I don't work for that department. Send me a PM here (so that it sends me a note at work) so that I can get you a contact over there.

I would not bad mouth Wells Fargo in anywway, seeing I use to work for them, but definitely look at a second opinion like DallasLoanGuy said. I know Wells Fargo has decent rates, but lately I have been beating them. What is your fico scores, are you purchasing? If so, any money down? Being in the broker world I work for you to find what you need and when you need it. if you want me to look at it I would be happy to and see if I can get you lower costs even with the Wells Fargo Discount.
