: )

The site instructions indicated Participants could post one (1) Advertisement per month. Which I did. Then I am told I must become an Active Member to post one (1) Advertisement. What does one do to "Become an Active Member?" bobj

Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be one hard and fast rule as to where that point is Bob. I bet if you contributed here over the next month the mods would allow your next ad to stay although I could be wrong.

Good luck in any event and welcome aboard.

In case you missed the sticky above.

Had you posted in some other areas, and interacted first, or even the same day- I would have let it slide. About the only thing I'm a real stickler on is the porn, the flyby's and the one time post of a ad.

There are the people who build sites for links that make me very uncomfortable because they are links to other mortgage advertising sites with google, and that's how we pay for this site-so, I watch those and do some editing.

As your email indicated you had read that we advertise this site as a free mortgage forum. It is free to join, anyone can ask questions and answer questions and offer help or mortgage products. We frown on people just coming by to see if they can pick up leads from consumers who are looking for help, without first assisting others and intereacting. As you have found there are several sites that require people in the mortgage related fields to pay for memebership. (That is what we mean by "Free") We do not require that. We just ask that you help, interact and be a team player.
