I'm guilty of about 4-5 of the "views" so I thought I'd post a response.

Sending a templated "thank you" note in the mail is like kissing your own sister. You're going through the motions but the thrill just ain't there.

If you can't take the time to make each one personal in it's content, I wouldn't bother.

I guess if you start to post stories about kissing your own sister you might get some more views and posts.... might get kicked off the site too, better stick with cover letters I guess

Only if he goes into the fun stuff area and posts links or pictures of Britney Spears!

I haven't kicked anyone around for kissing their sister's yet.

employment ads..Well, with all of the wholesale lending offices closing down around my parts-I am happy to report the ad we've used for the last year is bringing in more resumes than we can handle! We don't even use careerbuilder.com!

(of course-ask Mac... I used to have hair, and it was blonde at one time!)
What are you hiring for?

Networking usually helps. Community organizations usually have some resources for networking.

don't worry about it

i totally agree, but I do have many generic templates for letters which I can make slight changes per specific scenarios.

It just makes life slighlty easier versus sitting and writing a lettter each time.

a lot of people from OwnIt need jobs now that their doors finally closed down :? :( .

were hiring to increase volume at this point. we got rid of most the in-house LO's a few months back and now have most of our LO's working sattelite.

were going to try another run and pack the house again with some LO's and Originators.

wish us luck guys :D
