Hello from Salt Lake City, Utah. I have been a reader for some time on the forum, finally decided to create an account and get involved in some conversation.
Have a long history in big business networking/system engineering until a few years ago started doing some consulting to a mortgage company, by the way I think this is the only profession as wacko as info tech.
I won’t have very much to say in the way of loans and leads, but I love to talk nerdy…… My plan is to learn more about the industry and terminology as well as get a feel of what is going on outside the company I am with, better informed is better performed…..
PS, don’t mind anyone asking questions about technology related to mortgage side, like to help out… |

welcome.
what projects are you working on?
database mgt is my achilles heel in this industry.... since we have proprietary systems for loans.
i do a lot in outlook which blows as a database.
got some people in Act! but i dont like it.
got any good ideas? |

Jeromey is my name, although my parents gave me a birth name they messed with the spelling so everyone in the world would misspell it.....
DallasLoanGuy= Database is fun is it not.... A few of the projects i work on is i have a new system that will update Calyx over the internet to our branches to insure that they stay current, with the new releases from Calyx that can be a challenge. As for ACT, well just about every time someone hates it they are running the app on their laptop or old pc. that app can be a system hog, if run on a good pc or server it will make a huge diffrence. hard to suggest a good alt for you as i would need to know how many people access the crm and many other details. send me an email, i will be more than happy to make suggestions on your needs....
