I'm a cat person through and through. I like dogs, but I really only like them when they are other peoples dogs. It's just annoying to have to get up every day, feed them, walk them, run around and throw stuff for them to bring it back to you and...do it again. I would much rather have a cat that'll come sit in my lap when she feels like it while I'm doing other activities (Work, TV, whatever)
So what's your preference? |

I voted for cats too.
What's that line out of Meet the Parents about cats? |

so you are referring to this thread?

here, let me rewrite it for you.
What is a CAT?
1. Cats do what they want.
2. They rarely listen to you.
3. They're totally unpredictable.
4. When you want to play, they want to be alone.
5. When you want to be alone, they want to play, or bite you.
6. They expect you to cater to their every whim, that would include the favorite can of tuna that can only be purchased at the market in a slum area of town, with a body guard.
7. They're moody. (No, just say it like it is, the are B-I-T-C-H-E-S)
8. They leave hair everywhere.
CONCLUSION: They're people who want attention-in little fur coats.
What is a DOG?
1. Dogs spend all day sprawled on the most comfortable piece of furniture in the house. Heresay (I go for a good Mohak carpet, and like all fours on the ground)
2. They can hear a package of food opening half a block away, but don't hear you when you're in the same room. (I'm sleeping, I chased tha cat around all day, if there is no good food involved-leave me sleep!)
3. They can look dumb and lovable all at the same time. (that is why we have a home in your home-correct?)
4. They growl when they are not happy. (don't you?)
5. When you want to play, they want to play. (always! Frisbee!)
6. When you want to be alone, they want to play. (we also hug good)
7. They leave their toys everywhere. (excuse me, I'm tripping over cat toys right now?)
8. They do disgusting things with their mouths and then try to give you a kiss! (We clean up real good? Like a cat doesn't do the same thing 10 times more????)
CONCLUSION: They're just people with love, in little fur coats.
I stand my ground! |
