| I just want to know if anyone has heard anything about this. I was talking to a rep from FIVE9 a company that specializes in predictive dialing and he swears by it. |

| Not as far as I know. You just have to follow the same do-not-call rules that everyone else must follow. |

as long as you are registered with the DNC and have a valid SAN# and you have had your leads scrubbed against the DNC list you will be fine!
and I beleive you are talking about auto-dialers! predictive dialers just connect you to live connects. |

I work for callfire.com, we do a lot of voice broadcasting as a hosted model for Mortgage and other marketing companies, this is what I've learned:
I can assure you that it is not illegal to run Voice Broadcasting or Press 1 campaigns. You just have to follow the guidelines from the Do Not Call List.
1) Get a San Number from telemarketing.donotcall.gov
2) Scrub your Lists at any DNC Site.
3) Make sure you follow the guidelines for the sound file - say your company name, put proper callerid, give users the option to be added to your personal Do-Not-Call List...etc. Read donotcall.gov for more details.
I found this site useful for general help: http://www3.dncsolution.com/marketing/reginfo/default.asp
It seems like a lot of steps, but most online services are very quick and easy to use, most people I know create campaigns and run their lists in a matter of 10 minutes. They follow proper guidelines, someone in their office is usually in charge of keeping things ready and scheduled.
Hope that helps. |

| I have friends who do that here in souther California using predictive dialing and a call list scrub against the dnc (do not cal) list. It is software driven as well. |
