Buy a house with my Spanish property as a guarantee?

Hi, I am thinking to buy a home here in london, and I would like to use my spanish house which is rented now, my question is, it would be possible to use it as a garantee? and, it would be easier to get a bigger loan?.I will finish to pay this house in November'06?, How it would be the procedure?

I would recommend that you contact a mortgage broker local to your area. They will be more up to speed in the regulations and customs concerning these to countries.
