I am getting closer to getting my but back down to NOLA. I have accomplished everything I set out to do some 6 weeks ago when the lightening bolt hit me and I decided to put everything I own in storage and run back down there.
I am almost ready :lol:
I wanted to report that much is going very well. I have managed to get on many a nerve I am sure, however I am finding I have a tremendous amount of talent and positioning within my own little circle of friends.
As insane as it sounds, I intend to hit New Orleans with everything I can possibly provide to help as much as we can.
So far I have a very close associate that is a licensed Mortgage Broker in Louisiana AND he has a direct connect in the area of the demolitions.
I have a specialist in Community Affairs and most importantly he has a background in obtaining government money to help us rebuild.
I have a friend in the crane industry that is ready to ship us cranes. Don't know how many folks are aware but most of New Orleans either has to be torn down or raised up....raised off the ground by anywhere from 3 1/2 feet to 11+ feet. Yea, we are gonna need a crane or two :!:
I could go on and on raving about the people who are coming together, but I am sure everyone is already yawning!
So far it is allllll coming together nicely!
We are looking for a "mom & pop" Real Estate Brokerage to merge with, in case anyone knows anyone there. We will bring the business and do the work :D Let me know if any of you have any ideas, PLEASE.
