|
|
Hello,
Should I be concerned with using a lender based in another state than the one which I am purchasing in? I reside in IL and this lender is based in CA, although they are obviously licensed in IL. Some people have told me that it is better to go with a local lender.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Thank you. |

I'm in Springfield, IL and about 1/2 of my business comes from outside of the state. I'd like to think that in general it works out just as well as when I'm working with someone local.
There is however always the benefit to being able to walk into someones office and say 'now, I don't understand. Can you explain this?'
It's really all about your preference and comfort level. |

Hap,
I'm shopping for a lender for my son, his wife and 2 of my grandkids. You might want to call me. |
