Watch it Bucko, I'm older and meaner than you are!
Why don't you try the live help instead of calling the next time you're driving down the highway?
Just whip out your PDA, and chat away.....
I dare you! |

| Really? Guess I'd better change my signature for a bit. Maybe someone else will dare to explore! |

| Hey I've got an idea. How about you add in there what the support is for. I mean, is this for things like I asked you about the other day? Or is it for other stuff? |

We are there for a mixed bag of tricks stuff.
This is just my thoughts on what I see. When I heard this program was rolling out the door and two blocks away from my house-I was doing back flips! HUD is going to be "Friendly"?!
I will be the first person to admit HUD spelled backwards is DUH! (Remember, I have been a broker, a lender, a servicer.)
But they actually are going to market????? :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:
The first goal is to educate the future home buyer. Get them into a path that will lead them to becoming a homeowner.
The second goal is to guide them to acknowledge what responsibilities come with owning a home.
(We can't do this alone-we need people who have intuitive skills, and can teach people not to eat the easy nut, but to plant it, and help it grow) These people we seek are Mortgage Brokers, and Mortgage Bankers.
HUD doesn't write loans-they only Insure them. We need LO's.
We assist the brokers and lenders with some easy fix questions too.
("Easy" is a relative word if you don't care to read, educate yourself or want a instant fix to a password issue) Sure- It's Easy!
It really all boils down to this:
If you're a homeowner, homebuyer, who needs a question answered-we are there. If your loan is NOT FHA. sorry- Please see Fanniemae.com, Freddiemac.com, VA.gov, or USDA.gov.
Now, for any LO's who are lazy and you want us to tell you what your underwriter can do, but won't sign off on- You're going to have to deal with the Underwriter.
They have the magic pen-they make the rules. Only UW's can call in and ask for a Waive, and we just transfer those calls.
Actually. most days are really fun. We get a lot of good questions. When I take calls, and someone asks me a good question-I tell them.."That is a Good Question"
I like a challenge. This business is like a puzzle.
I've met most of the Homeownership manager's in the past and present. they are good people.
I'm just part of the Gate Keeper Crew. |
