The Inventor of the Harley-Davidson motorcycle, Arthur Davidson, died and went to heaven. At the gates, St. Peter told Arthur, "Since you've been such a good man and your motorcycles have changed the world, your reward is that you can hang out with anyone you want in Heaven."

Arthur thought about it for a minute and then said, "I want to hang out with God."

St. Peter took Arthur to the Throne Room, and introduced him to God.

God recognized Arthur and commented, "Okay, so you were the one who invented the Harley Davidson motorcycle?"

Arthur said, "Yeah, that's me..."

God commented: "Well, what's the big deal in inventing something that's pretty unstable, makes noise and pollution, and can't run without a road?

Arthur was embarrassed, but finally spoke, "Excuse me, but aren't you the inventor of woman?"

God said, "Ah, yes."

"Well," said Arthur, "professional to professional, you have some major design flaws in your invention:

1. There's too much inconsistency in the front-end protrusion; 2. It chatters constantly at high speeds; 3. Most of the rear ends are too soft and wobble too much; 4. The intake is placed way too close to the exhaust; 5. And the maintenance costs are outrageous!"

"Hmmmm, you may have some good points there," replied God, "hold on."

God went to his Celestial super-computer, typed in a few words and waited for the results.

The computer printed out a slip of paper and God read it.

"Well, it may be true that my invention is flawed," God said to Arthur,"but according to these numbers, more men are riding my invention than yours.

Thanks! It has been a while. I am glad I could remember my password. How is everybody? Any new trouble makers (or major flirts) I need to be aware of?

Haha, not nearly so much ;)

It's died down a tad, and become primarily just a business focus. There's still the 'special hidden section' but I'm afraid it's been quiet for quite a while :?

What are you doing these days?

No more Nikko?! What a bummer. I haven't been doing to much. Put in exactly one year with NovaStar, then they laid me off. Literally on my 1 year hire date. I am underwriting now at Home Funds Direct which is the retail side of Accredited Home Lenders and I am much happier. Other than work, and family, my life is pretty boring. On the bright side, NASCAR season is off and running which makes me extremely happy. I still have access to the anything goes area...I did notice it has been pretty dead. So, besides my occasional funny jokes, where can I help contribute here?

Any where you want to!

I have a tough time because I'm in this grey/gray area. It's kind of fun, but then it's so restrictive. We need a clear UW thinking person around so people know you all aren't impossible people who just turn loans down for the fun of it.

Hey, btw Chow, I won't be able to make it for Mem day weekend. I'm going to Canada shortly after that for a week and need to conserve some fundage for the partying we're going to be doing ;)

You would rather go to Canada and see the sights, than come over here and watch Dave's girl drive everyone off the track?

It's not so much that, it's that I have very good friends that I have not seen for a long time that live there ;)

Chow, what are you talking about. I do turn loans down for fun. I really enjoy the ones the loan officers bring me with the sub 500 scores, on the job for 1 month, 9 months in the home that they bought for $35k and with no improvements it appaises for 125K and they want 95% with a 3x30 or more on the mtg history. The look on the LO's faces are priceless, like a mastercard commercial. I can entertain myself all day.

Well, I don't know about your LO's but we're required to submit it to an underwriter for a decision. So even if I had your scenario, I'd sit here and fight to the death for that borrower, showing any good positive history they had, to try to get it through. Of course sometimes you're just beating a dead horse...

What am I sliced bologna? Golly, I don't know why you wouldn't want to hang out with a few crazy middle aged people, walk the fine streets of Speedway, Eagledale subdivison, and do stairs.....while drinking, tasting the fine vendor food, the food we pack and share and pass around.

Spoiler Alert: We usually end up walking off our beer......

(If you can't tell-the same group of ticket holders have been in the same spot for years! By the end of the race we have stood at all the hot spots, and walked around 20 miles.)

And Pussy cat, didn't anyone ever tell you that everyone's home is a Castle? When the LO's dump the new value on you, you just ask them if they have recently installed Moats and Turrent's!
