|
|
| I have a client (LO) who is currently using various methods to get new referral business through her current contacts. She is currently using a Card Agency that sends out cards on a monthly basis to keep her name in front of her current contacts. Are there any other ideas or companies out there that offer any other referral based marketing. Thanks. |

David Frey's (link deleted) is pretty good. It's a compilation of referral generating ideas taken from a large number of industries. Not all of it is applicable to the mortgage industry, but certainly enough to give you at least 10-20 idea tracks to choose from.
He's also got a money back guarantee on it.
It's part of my permanent business collection. :D |

| I have a system that helps me. I am able to send out Newsleters every two months. I send it by email and if they dont have email, snail mail. I amable to send out emails so it trickles and your ISP wont see it and think that its spam. It also will not show your list of emails adressed so each person thinks its a personal email to them. It takes a few minutes to send them and on everyone I market to get the referral business. |

| Newsletters help out a lot! They keep the relationships fresh so they don't forget. |

| I agree, I've been doing email marketing for my clients (business who offer product/service/partnership to our data of 400,000 Mortgage Pros or up to 1 Million Realtors). We usually offer our Premium Server to our clients with an average of 15% - 22% Open Rate, due to our relationship with ISP, the quality of our data, and the technology/server we use. |

| I actually don't really find newsletters to be all that effective. They are not personalized and probably go directly into the garbage more often than not. Personalized correspondence is the way to go (ie holiday cards, calling them on their birthday, etc.). People want to feel special and newsletters do not accomplish that. |

| How about just concentrating on providing great customer service and giving the customer what they want. That way most people come back to you and most people refer you to there friends. I find if you're good to the customer they're good to you. |
